The SPOT system has two main receiving stations in Toulouse, France, and Kiruna, Sweden. To speed up image reception and enhance satellite programming, Spot Image has set up a compact receiving station called Easy Link to SPOT (ELS) at its Toulouse facility.
The ELS station is linked to Spot Image's data processing centre.

The two main stations receive images acquired by the SPOT satellites all over the globe, which are read out from the onboard recorders or downlinked directly when the satellites are within range.

Other receiving stations around the world have also signed partnership agreements with Spot Image to receive SPOT data directly within their acquisition circle.
